On behalf of the International Oilmen’s tournament committee, we would like to welcome everyone to the 68th Annual Golf Tournament. It’s your support for events like this that makes this industry great. This tournament and some of our traditions have evolved over the years to meet the many changes in our industry and we shall continue to make every effort to provide a memorable experience for everyone to celebrate our industry and make a difference in our community.
We are very pleased to host this long-standing tournament at The Edmonton Petroleum Golf & Country Club again this year. I can’t think of a more fitting place to host our industry golf tournament and I wish to thank the Golf Club and its Members for the support and privilege to host this event.
The IOGT has always been a great opportunity to catch up with friends and industry colleagues we’ve known for years and a chance to network with new acquaintances.
To me the people of the oil and gas industry are among the most generous, community-minded people anywhere.
